Rumer Willis posts lines on Instagram that are worrying. The actress talks about her psychological problems, which have been particularly bad in the last few days.

With the words: "I wanted to share something vulnerable", Rumer Willis, 32, begins her emotional text, which she shared a few days ago in her Instagram story. The daughter of Demi Moore, 58, and Bruce Willis, 65, does what few people dare to do: She shows herself in one of her most vulnerable moments – and lets her 870,000 followers look deep into her soul.

Rumer Willis: "Sometimes I feel like I'm dying"

Rumer wears a white T-shirt, she has tied her hair back, and she hardly has any make-up, if at all. She looks worn out and stares at the camera with empty eyes. "I have been dealing with severe anxiety since yesterday," she writes about this very private moment.

The actress is currently suffering from panic attacks and explains how bad they feel: "Sometimes I feel like I'm dying. I feel sick and my heart doesn't want to slow down. Sometimes it feels like there is a force that so much bigger than me, taking control of the control center in my (brain). "

This star also suffered from anxiety

Like Rumer, he too had to struggle with nervousness and a racing heart. He reports dizziness, tremors all over his body and has sometimes even experienced symptoms of paralysis in the limbs. Panic attack: That helped Rumer Willis and Manuel Cortez

But what helps in such an exceptional situation in which those affected can no longer think clearly? Rumer confronts these feelings of fear instead of suppressing them. She tries to empathize with the discomfort, "as scary and painful as that is".

It was a relief for Manuel to find out that he "only" suffers from an anxiety disorder and that fear cannot harm him. "I feel like my heart is racing and I have a flaw, but it doesn't." It is only fear that is to blame for this feeling. During one such panic attack, he said he worked with acupressure tapping techniques and breathing techniques, which helped him relax and relieve symptoms.

He also tried to sharpen his awareness and concentrate on himself in order to regain control of his feelings. Deutsche Angsthilfe e.V. has further tips on what to do during a panic attack.

Rumer Willis: The cause of the panic is unclear

For Manuel Cortez, the anxiety disorder was triggered by trauma in childhood and adolescence. What triggered the panic attack and anxiety disorder in Rumer Willis, she did not reveal in the Instagram post. It wasn't until January of this year that the celebrity daughter celebrated that she had been dry for four years and had stopped drinking alcohol.
