While everyone tried to steal some of the success of Fortnitefew are those who have clearly dared to walk on the flowerbeds of Rocket League. 7 years after its launch, the title of Psyonix still popular, but now a major publisher now seems to want to compete with it.

The always very well-informed Tom Henderson asserts, in fact, in an item for eXputerthat 2K Games currently developing a certain Gravity Goalvery similar in principle to Rocket League. We would fly there motorcycles reminiscent TRON in parts in 1v1, 2v2 Where 3v3, having to move a ball into an opposing goal with our vehicles. the gameplay would stand out above all for the possibility of using kinds of luminous discs or pucks to damage opposing carsin order to slow them down or even stop them depending on the speed of the attacker and the victim.

According to Tom Henderson’s sources, Gravity Goal was in closed alpha at the end of 2021, so he thinks it could be formalized in 2022, for release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, but not on Switch. We don’t know exactly which studio would take on this project.
