RUMOR about Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, an imminent reveal and no PlayStation exclusive for the remake

It’s been almost two years since we heard about a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eatera priori developed by the Chinese studio Virtuos. And if the projects silent Hill which were at the heart of the hallway noises at the time have since been formalized, this revisited version of the 2004 classic has still not been formalized.

And if our salvation arrived this Wednesday, May 24, 2023, on the occasion of the next Playstation Showcase ? This is what Tom Henderson suggests via his site Insider Gaming. The famous leaker indicates that he would know from his sources that the project would be confirmed during the special broadcast of Sony Interactive Entertainmentbut on the other hand would not be exclusive to the manufacturer: the remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater would be expected on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The experience, already playable on PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3/Xbox 360 in HD Editionwould therefore open up to a wider audience than ever via this updated edition.

For the record, rumors have it that Metal Gear Solid And Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty will also soon be entitled to remasterings, and that Castlevania is also entitled to imminent projects. Waiting to know more, Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Experience is available from €15.99 on Amazon.co.uk.
