Even if the first part will have laid the foundations of the lore of silent Hill, fans especially remember the second episode of the franchise, featuring James Sunderland looking for his wife in the mysterious city. And if Bloober Team (Layers of Fear, Blair Witch, The Medium) was developing a remake of this survival horror worship ?
That’s what it says Nate the Hate on Twitter. The Internet user shares his information and explains that Bloober Team would develop a remake of Silent Hill 2, temporarily exclusive to playstationwith reworked puzzles and additional endings. Information to be taken with a grain of salt of course, but the very well-informed journalist Jeff Grubb indicates that he heard the same things from his side. Nate the Hate states in passing that multiple projects silent Hill would be in developmentincluding a new main game and side stories.
As a reminder, Dusk Golem shared a few days ago artworks of a game silent Hill in development, supposedly made by Masahiro Itō. Images quickly deleted following copyright infringement, suggesting that Konami didn’t like it leaked recognized. The horror franchise does indeed seem to be on the return, but we will have to wait for a formalization to have all the pieces of the puzzle. You can find products silent Hill on Amazon.
