In just over two weeks, a new Ubisoft Forwardduring which the publisher will tell us about its games already announced and expected, including Assassin’s Creed Mirage no doubt, the license counts so much that the workforce working on it will increase by 40%. So far, we just know that this new episode promising us a return to basics is scheduled for 2023 if nothing has changed, and has anyway been confirmed for the current fiscal year ofUbisoft, so before the end of March 2024. Rumors of a launch in August have since given way to others speaking of the fall, the classic period for the arrival of a title from the license, a low-risk bet that not anyone could have done. Well, it seems that the firm and final release date of the game has just leaked, and it’s once not customary on the side of Japan that this news comes to us.
Gematsu has indeed reported a tweet referring us to no less than three resellers in the Archipelago, namely BIC CAMERA, Amazon.jp And Yodobashiwho all agree on the date of October 12, 2023. It is also a Thursday, a day commonly used by the publisher to launch headlines. Below you will find the screenshots of the different pages with the date circled in red by us each time.
As specified Gematsu, it is not in the habits of Japanese resellers to indicate a placement date. The fact that this is not an isolated case also tends to make us think that this is the right date, perhaps posted too soon? If that is the case, should we expect an announcement during the Playstation Showcasebefore a closer look atUbisoft Forward ? Like always, wait & see.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage is available for pre-order on Amazon.co.uk at the price of 49.99 €with here a date which is indeed a place holder.
