RUMOR on Mass Effect: a throwback that will delight fans

BioWare is currently developing two games eagerly awaited by game enthusiastsAction RPGthe next Dragon Age And Mass Effect. The latter has been teased for years, but concrete information is rareso when a detail happens to leak, it’s always a good thing to take, especially when it’s possible good news.

Jez Corden, journalist Windows Central often well informed, has in fact revealed in his Xbox Two Podcast that BioWare would like to return to the old formula of Mass Effectthat ofAndromeda not having particularly appealed to players. He states thus:

I heard that Mass Effect would ditch the open world, and return to a more classic format. I’m not 100% sure this is true, but it’s a rumor in the industry.

This should delight early fans, it must be said that despite its qualities, Mass Effect: Andromeda did not come close to the trilogy with the Commander Shepard. As a reminder, the formula of the gigantic open world begins to show its limits in terms of interestto the point that some big studios are returning to more classic formats, like Ubisoft with Assassin’s Creed Miragefor pre-order at €49.99 on Amazon.

Regarding the next Mass Effectwell we will have to wait for an official presentation from BioWare Or EA Games to find out if the return to basics will be a reality, and especially if it will be beneficial to the future of the franchise.
