Of the graphics cards which will not arrive for at least another month, but which will logically be a little more “accessible” than the RTX 4090.

Announced by NVIDIA at the same time as the RTX 4090, the GeForce RTX 4080 16 GB and RTX 4080 12 GB should not be available before November, however. We do not yet have a precise date, but leaks already mention their performance.

2505 MHz boost frequency

Indeed, spotted by our colleagues from Videocardzmessages have already been published on the forums Chiphell to evoke the case of these “second knives” of the Ada Lovelace range.

While the RTX 4080 16 GB should not be released for several weeks, there is currently no driver capable of recognizing the beast. We can therefore wonder how this card could go so far as to carry out benches in entirety.

Still, a capture allows you to discover the performance of the card on the GPGPU module of AIDA64, a benchmark which we are not used to using on Clubic, but which allows us to see a GPU clocked at the boost frequency of 2,505 MHz.

The RTX 3090 Ti humiliated

We don’t have much of a comparison for this benchmark, but it’s also an opportunity to see the value of 53,620 GFLOPS, which would confirm what NVIDIA promised for the RTX 4080 16 GB.

Besides that, two captures came to illustrate the performance of the same card on a much more usual software, 3DMark. It’s about two of the most popular scenes: FireStrike Extreme on one side and TimeSpy Extreme the other. In the first case, the RTX 4080 signs a score of 17,465 points and 13,977 points in the second.

Two results that place this supposed GeForce RTX 4080 16 GB very well ahead of any graphics card already marketed by NVIDIA or AMD. Even a monster like the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti takes a nasty slap!

Slap which moreover is renewed with the third scene of 3DMarkthe famous Royal Port who insists on ray tracing. A new orientation that does not change much in the results: the unfortunate RTX 3090 Ti is having a very bad time.
