British actor Rupert Friend will reportedly star in the new Jurassic World film.

The actor Rupert Friend (42) is known from films such as “Pride and Prejudice” (2005) or the thriller series “Homeland”. In recent years he has also appeared in several films by star director Wes Anderson (55), such as “The French Dispatch” (2021) and “Asteroid City” (2023). The Briton gained further fame between 2005 and 2010 through his relationship with fellow actress Keira Knightley (39), whom he met during the filming of “Pride and Prejudice”.

Brit goes dinosaur hunting in Hollywood

According to a report by “The Hollywood Reporter” magazine, Friend will soon be seen on the big screen as a dinosaur hunter alongside Scarlett Johansson (“Black Widow”, 39) and Jonathan Bailey (“Bridgerton”, 36). As the US industry portal learned, the actor is set to take on one of the main roles in the new “Jurassic World” film, which is expected to hit theaters in July 2025.

Gareth Edwards (“Godzilla”, 48) is responsible as director for the film sequel, the script is provided by the experienced author David Koepp (60), who already wrote the scripts for the Steven Spielberg films “Jurassic Park” (1993) and ” Forgotten World: Jurassic Park” (1997).
