Another police authority is investigating new allegations
New allegations against comedian Russell Brand have been revealed.

Russell Brand has to deal with new allegations. A police department confirmed an investigation after a woman came forward.
The British actor and comedian Russell Brand (48) is still under massive pressure due to numerous allegations of abuse. As the British broadcaster BBC now reports on its homepage, another police authority has initiated an investigation following new allegations.
Accordingly, police in Thames Valley said that a woman contacted the investigating authorities two weeks ago with “new information” in connection with the public reports about Brand due to “harassment and stalking”. The allegations will be examined, but it would be inappropriate to comment on an ongoing investigation, the authority said in a statement.

According to the BBC, the woman had reported the allegations to the local police several times between 2018 and 2022, but the officers did not take any further action at the time. In 2017, Brand also accused the woman in question of harassment in a statement. After the first allegations emerged in the press, the Metropolitan Police had already confirmed that “a number of allegations of sexual offenses” had been received.
Brand is currently facing massive allegations of rape and abuse. As part of joint research by the “Sunday Times”, the “Times” and the TV show “Dispatches” Allegations of sexual assault, emotional and sexual abuse and sexual violence were published by four anonymous women who were said to have been victims of Brand’s behavior between 2006 and 2013 – including a then 16-year-old.
Scotland Yard is also said to be involved
As the newspapers later reported, after the documentary “Russell Brand: In Plain Sight” was broadcast, other women came forward to say they had been sexually abused by Brand. Scotland Yard is also already involved. Before the allegations were published, Brand responded proactively with a video, that he spread on his social media platforms.
In it, he said he never made a secret about his lavish lifestyle in the early 2000s, during the peak of his career. He lived “very, very promiscuously” and always openly admitted this. However, all of his relationships were “absolutely and always consensual”. It was an “outrageous and aggressive attack” and “serious allegations” that he could refute.
“I’ve always been transparent, almost too transparent, and I am now,” Brand explained. The matter is part of a “coordinated attack” by the media on him and other prominent men and is “very, very serious.”
Russell Brand started his career in the 90s
Russell Brand has been working as a comedian, presenter, singer, actor and author since the 1990s. He became known, among other things, for films such as “Never Have Sex With Your Ex Again” (2008) with Jason Segel, Kristen Bell and Mila Kunis or “Men’s Trip” (2010) alongside Jonah Hill.
Russell Brand was in a relationship with the American singer Katy Perry (38) from 2009 and was married from 2010 to 2012. They separated again in 2011, just 14 months after their wedding in India. Brand then married the author Laura Gallacher (36) in 2017, with whom he is currently expecting their third child.
