Russia: Avtovaz partially halts production

March 21 (Reuters) – Avtovaz, Russia’s largest automaker, said on Monday it was partially halting production until March 25 due to a shortage of electronic components.

Avtovaz, controlled by Renault, has already suspended production on several occasions since the beginning of the month at its plants in Togliatti and Izhevsk (in southwestern Russia) due to problems with the supply of electronic components.
