- At least three people were killed and around 20 injured on Wednesday (February 1st) when a Russian missile fired at an apartment building in Kramatorsk, in eastern Ukraine, according to Ukrainian authorities. “At least eight apartment buildings were damaged, including one completely destroyed. People could be under the rubble”Donetsk police said.
- Ukraine launched a major anti-corruption operation on Wednesday. Searches targeted administrations, civil servants and personalities. “Justice will be served”, said President Volodymyr Zelensky in his daily message.
