Russian army says it shot down 13 rockets fired by Ukraine







Dec 29 (Reuters) – Russia’s Defense Ministry said its anti-aircraft units destroyed 13 rockets launched by Ukraine over Russia’s Belgorod region on Friday.

Vyacheslav Gladkov, the governor of this region in western Russia on the Ukrainian border, said one man was killed and four people injured in the incidents.

Alexander Bogomaz, the governor of the Bryansk region, also in western Russia, said six Ukrainian drones had been shot down. No casualties were reported, he said. (Reporting Ron Popeski and Oleksandr Kozhukhar; French version Camille Raynaud)
