Andreï Makarevitch is no longer welcome in his country. Once close to Vladimir Putin, whom he believed would lead his country on the path to “peace and freedom”it is now declared “foreign agent” by Moscow. The concerts of his group are banned in Russia.
In a rare interview with World, he takes advantage of a concert given in Almaty, Kazakhstan, to return to his past political positions, and to the invasion of Ukraine by Russia.
