Rust: 12 million sales and other big numbers

Rust has been part of the video game landscape since 2013, year of its launch in Early Access on PC. Since then, the survival game of Facepunch got a bunch of updates, DLC and more recently a Console Edition on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. And to get 2022 off to a good start, the studio shares some figures.

Rust sold 12.48 million copies on computers and consoles., and more than 1.1 million packs of DLC have found takers. On the streaming platform Twitch, the title has accumulated more than 1.37 million simultaneous viewers, for a total of 1.3 billion views. On Steam, the title brought together around 267,000 players at the same time during the last peak in attendance.

The adventure is far from over, Facepunch tease the content that will be introduced in Rust in 2022, including an arctic monument, new weapons and vehicles and even new animals, including a polar bear. You can find Rust Day One Edition at € 50.41 on Amazon.
