Ryan Murphy has chosen an acting newcomer, Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, for his next horror project. He is set to play alongside a former “The Rookie” star. That’s what is known so far.

NFL star Travis Kelce will soon be trying his hand at acting. Kelce already made his acting debut in the comedy series “Moonbase 8,” in which he played himself in one episode, but his new gig is a completely different story: He will play a leading role in the Ryan Murphy series “Grotesquerie” alongside “The Rookie: Feds” star Niecy Nash-Betts.

In addition to his sporting achievements, Kelce achieved global fame through his relationship with pop superstar Taylor Swift. Ryan Murphy has a penchant for placing new actors in his series. He was able to give musician Lady Gaga the springboard for her acting career in “American Horror Story.” Kim Kardashian also got her first real acting role in “American Horror Story.”
But details about the horror drama “Grotesquerie” are few and far between. In addition to Kelce and Nash-Betts, Courtney B. Vance (“American Crime Story”) and Lesley Manville (“The Crown”) have also been confirmed for the FX series. The series is set to premiere in fall 2024, coinciding with the new football season. Murphy is working with Jon Robin Baitz and Joe Baken again for the series.
A short teaser video by Ryan Murphy was released in February 2024, in which we hear Niecy Nash-Betts speaking. In it, she sounds very upset and talks about a huge hole opening up in the world and evil taking over.
