Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively donated $ 500,000 to an organization that helps homeless youth in Canada.

The actor couple Ryan Reynolds (44, "Deadpool") and Blake Lively (33, "Gossip Girl") are often committed to charity. Now they have shown their generosity again and donated 250,000 US dollars (around 209,000 euros) each to the Covenant House Vancouver and the Covenant House Toronto, as the organization announced via Instagram, among other things. Covenant House works for homeless youth across Canada.

"Covenant House offers love, hope and stability to vulnerable teens who have fled physical, emotional and sexual abuse," Ryan Reynolds said in a statement. "They do the work of heroes." Funds going to Covenant House by December 31st will be doubled by Reynolds and Lively.
