Ryzen 7000/AMD X670: an announcement on August 29 and a launch on September 15?

Suddenly, things become nastily clearer for the new generation of processors AMD, Ryzen on Zen 4 architecture.

Barely 24 hours after Lisa Su confirmed AMD’s general timetable, new information comes to put things even more precisely, at least for the Ryzen 7000 series.

Three dates to remember, four CPU references

Without revealing the nature of their sources, our colleagues from WCCFTech therefore advance three dates, three deadlines for the new generation of AMD processors.

• Announcement of products: August 30, 2022 at 2:00 a.m. CET
• Press embargo: September 13, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. Paris time
• Reseller embargo: September 15, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. Paris time

Everything therefore suggests that in less than a month AMD will reveal the CPUs with, probably, four references. Then, a little less than two weeks later, the press tests will arrive and another two days later, the “shelf” release at the retailers.
