(CercleFinance.com) – Safran announces that Safran Data Systems, a subsidiary of Safran Electronics & Defense, has just acquired Captronic Systems in India.
Over the past two decades, Captronic Systems has developed particular expertise in the development and supply of automated test benches for air defence, space and automotive applications.
With a team of more than 100 engineers located in India in Bangalore, Chennai and Thiruvananthapuram, the company brings together recognized skills in system engineering, radio frequencies, signal processing, instrumentation and testing.
This acquisition will allow Safran Data Systems to expand its presence in India to make this strategic country an additional pillar of its ambition in Asia.
