The Black-Out Challenge, organized by Safran and Agorize, is back this year for a fourth edition! This student competition brought together more than 1,500 participants in previous editions, with one mission: to save humanity.
the Black Out Challenge ? This is an innovation competition organized by Safran Electronics & Defense for all students. Its principle? Since 2019 and the first edition, Safran has called on the student community to find solutions to help humanity cope with natural and technological disasters (solar flare, loss of satellite and GPS systems, blindness of part of the population, cyber risks, etc.). For this 4e edition, the emphasis is placed on the prevention of future risks and the development of air resources that are more economical, more respectful of the environment and more secure.
Do you think you are up to the challenge?
To participate, all you have to do isto be a student of higher education and build a team from 2 to 5 people, or to join one of the teams already created, then to apply here. It will then be submit your project before November 13, 2022. Selected by a jury made up of Safran experts, the five finalist teams will come to defend their projects in front of the top management of Safran Electronics & Defense on the SafranTech site and will have the opportunity to win one of the grand prizes at stake.

Last year, 325 students divided into 135 teams embarked on the adventure of Black Out Challenge. Whether you are in engineering or business school, IUT, IEP or University, there are only good profiles… as long as you offer innovative and creative solutions!
