Safran: Bernstein raises its opinion to ‘outperform’

(CercleFinance.com) – Bernstein raised his opinion on Safran on Friday, going from ‘market performance’ to ‘outperformance’ with an improved price target of 118 to 142 euros.

The design office – which makes the French equipment supplier its preferred choice within the global aeronautics and defense market for this new year – justifies its optimism by the more favorable prospects for the spare parts segment for the civil Aviation.

The analyst said in particular to expect strong growth in replacement equipment for CFM56 engines thanks to the gradual reopening of the Chinese economy.

The good momentum enjoyed by wide-bodied aircraft should, for its part, benefit Safran’s activities in aeronautical equipment and cabin interiors, he underlines in his note.
