Safran: completes its range of high-power electrical harnesses

(Boursier.com) — Saffron Electrical & Power is launching a line of high-power electrical harnesses, GENeUSConnect, which completes its range of electrical systems dedicated to new generations of all-electric and hybrid aircraft. These harnesses will be qualified for a voltage of up to 800 volts in continuous operation and designed to resist partial discharge phenomena at altitude. Equivalent in size to the wiring produced today for traditional aircraft, they will support power levels twice as high.

Thanks to new processes and suitable insulating materials, these harnesses make it possible to meet the needs of new all-electric and hybrid propulsion chains, particularly in harsh environments, characterized among other things by high temperatures, significant vibration conditions and strong stress constraints. ‘integration.
