(CercleFinance.com) – Safran Electronics & Defense announces the creation of a joint venture, Vision for Optronics & Navigation, with the Emirati company International Golden Group for the support of optronics and navigation equipment in the defense and high technologies.
Located at IGG Advanced Industries in the Tawazun industrial park in Abu-Dhabi, this center of excellence, with significant growth potential, will initially have an area of more than 800m² including clean rooms.
‘Vision for Optronics & Navigation will employ several dozen employees, fully in line with the local policy of highly qualified employment’, assures Safran.
The two companies will thus be able to meet the needs of the armed forces of the United Arab Emirates and those of other regional organizations, said the Safran press release.
