(Boursier.com) — For the 2nd consecutive year, Saffron obtained first place in the annual ranking of patent applicants in France, carried out by the National Institute of Intellectual Property (INPI).
For the second time, Safran tops the list of patent applicants in France. With 931 French patent applications filed between July 1, 2020 and June 30, 2021 and published in 2022, Safran is consolidating its position as a leader in innovation in France and also on a global scale.
This performance is all the more remarkable as it was achieved when the aeronautics sector was hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic.
It should be noted that this year, no patent applicant was able to exceed the symbolic bar of 1,000 patents filed.
