2024 - Safran: three appointments to the executive committee

(CercleFinance.com) – Safran announces three appointments with immediate effect to its executive committee.

Born 46 years ago, Franck Saudo is appointed Chairman of Safran Electronics & Defense, succeeding Martin Sion who becomes Executive Chairman of ArianeGroup, a joint venture between Safran and Airbus. In 2017, he was appointed Chairman of Safran Transmission Systems, before becoming Chairman of Safran Helicopter Engines in 2018.

Cédric Goubet (51) has been appointed President of Safran Helicopter Engines, replacing Franck Saudo. In 2018, he was appointed Chairman of Safran Nacelles, before taking over as Chairman of Safran Landing Systems in 2020.

Finally, François Bastin (51) has been appointed Chairman of Safran Landing Systems, taking over from Cédric Goubet. In 2018, he was appointed Director of the Civil Engines division of Safran Aircraft Engines.
