(CercleFinance.com) – Safran announces that CFM International will supply 80 LEAP-1B engines to the international aircraft rental company Avolon. This company has just ordered a fleet of 40 Boeing 737 MAX. The new devices are expected to ship between 2027 and 2030.
Avolon has been a CFM customer since the company launched in 2010 and already has more than 400 aircraft on order powered by CFM engines in its portfolio.
Since entering service, the LEAP-1B has flown more than 10.5 million hours and 4 million cycles.
