Saint-Gobain: 91.5% increase in net current income for 2021 – 02/24/2022 at 6:17 pm


(CercleFinance.com) – Saint-Gobain publishes a turnover of 44.1 billion euros for the 2021 financial year, up 15.8% compared to the previous financial year – or +18.4% on a like-for-like basis.

Between 2020 and 2021, EBITDA is up by 40.5%, to 6.2 billion euros, while operating profit stands at 3.9 billion euros, up 175%.

The group’s share of net income finally amounted to 2.5 billion euros, greatly surpassing the gain of 456 ME recorded a year earlier, ie an increase of 453%. EPS thus stands at 4.79 euros, up 463%.

Current net income was up 91.5%, at 2.8 billion euros, or current EPS of 5.35 euros (+95.3%).

In 2022, the group expects to redistribute to its shareholders a total amount of more than 1.2 billion euros. A dividend of 1.63 euro/share, up 23%, will thus be proposed at the AGM on June 2.

“In a context of structurally buoyant markets, Saint-Gobain is aiming for further growth in operating income in 2022 compared to 2021 at comparable exchange rates,” the group said.
