Saint-Gobain: aims for an operating margin between 9% and 11% – 23/02/2023 at 18:22


(CercleFinance.com) – The group generated revenue of 51,197 million euros, up 15.9% in 2022. Like-for-like, revenue increased by +13.3%. All segments posted double-digit organic growth.

Operating income reached a new all-time high at 5,337 ME, i.e. +18.4% in real terms compared to 2021 (+13.3% at comparable exchange rates). The operating margin also reached a new record at 10.4% in 2022 (compared to 10.2% in 2021).

ROCE reaches a new record of 16.1% (compared to 15.3% in 2021 and 10.7% in 2018)

EBITDA increased by +15% to reach a new record of 7,123 million euros (+53% compared to 2018). Net current income also stands at a new record of 3,335 million euros (+18%).

Saint-Gobain is aiming for an operating margin of between 9% and 11% in 2023, in line with the objective of the ‘Grow & Impact’ strategic plan.
