(CercleFinance.com) – Saint-Gobain indicates that it has signed a definitive agreement for the sale of Protrae, its timber processing and distribution business in Denmark, due to insufficient positioning and critical size.
This company, which employs around 100 people on two sites in
Rødding and Holsted and generated revenue of around 120 million euros in 2021, is sold to its main client jem & fix.
This disposal is in line with the strategy of optimizing the group’s profile. Subject to the approval of the competent competition authority, it should be finalized by the end of the third quarter.
