(CercleFinance.com) – The French investment fund Calao Finance announced Thursday that Isybot, one of its portfolio companies, had raised three million euros, notably from Saint-Gobain.
Created in 2016, Isybot designs collaborative robots intended to lighten the tasks of industrial employees (‘cobots’) and which are now used by groups such as SNCF, Airbus, Safran, Air France or Beneteau.
This latest round, which also involves CEA Investissement and historical investors in the company, should allow Isybot to develop its commercial network internationally, create new uses for its ‘cobots’ and extend its range.
Thanks to this fundraising and its strategic partnership with Saint-Gobain, the company hopes to expand its sales network in Europe and market its ‘cobot’ with a load capacity of 20 kg.
