Saint-Gobain: merges its activities in Turkey with Dalsan


(CercleFinance.com) – Saint-Gobain announces that it has obtained the necessary authorization from the competition authorities to merge its plasterboard and plasterboard activities in Turkey with those of Dalsan.

Saint-Gobain Rigips and Dalsan Alçi generated between them in 2022 a turnover of more than 160 million euros.

Saint-Gobain estimates that once the industrial investment of the new plant in Turgutlu (near Izmir) is completed, ‘the merged entity will benefit from a leading position with an annual production capacity of 100 million square meters of plasterboard, 2 million tons of plaster and 50 million meters of metal profiles’.

The company recalls that this partnership agreement is fully in line with the ‘Grow & Impact’ plan which aims to consolidate the Group’s leading position and accelerate its growth momentum by expanding its range of solutions for the construction markets. sustainable.
