(AOF) – Saint-Gobain has signed agreements for the sale of its specialist tile distribution business in the United Kingdom, CTD Tile Group, to Aurelius Investments. The closing of this transaction is expected by the end of the first quarter of 2022. CTD Tile Group employs 580 people and has 89 points of sale, generating a turnover of approximately 115 million euros in 2021.
Saint-Gobain has also signed agreements for the sale of Ideal Bathrooms, its last distribution brand specializing in plumbing, heating and sanitary products in the United Kingdom, which generated sales of approximately 60 million euros in 2021. Ideal Bathrooms will be sold to Wolseley UK and the transaction is expected to close in April 2022.
