On the night of December 30 to 31, a resident of Saint-Nazaire (Loire-Atlantique) had the unpleasant surprise of having his vehicle stolen. The latter was stolen with the keys that were inside the home.

This burglary took place on rue Christine de Pissan. First, the thug(s) forced a shutter down. Then they unhinged the kitchen door, allowing them to enter the house. There they got their hands on a bag in which was the car key. The victim filed a complaint and an investigation is underway.

If the police are used to intervening for burglaries, they want to send a message of vigilance and remind some rules of common sense. “ When a vehicle is parked, the first thing thieves do when entering the house is to look for the storage compartment “, indicates the police of Saint-Nazaire. The idea is therefore not to leave anything lying around and to hide your keys. Likewise, “ low-cost dissuasive protective equipment exists as a “mouth” and allow the slightest intrusion to be detected.
