No need to hide it, Saints Row version 2022 did not appeal, many players and journalists not finding themselves there in the open world without flavor concocted for the reboot. Volition and Deep Silver however, still have specifications to keep, with in particular a Expansion Pass including several paid extensions.
They are also planning lots of free changes and new features to optimize the experience, as they have just explained on the license site. From today, we can thus go to the shop to get the cosmetic pack for free Front to Back : others of the genre will follow in the months to come. In November, we will thus be entitled to a first major update, including over 200 fixes and improving the stability of the experience. Other patches are planned to “make certain activities less repetitive, make challenges more rewarding, smoother vehicle management, improve vibration and touch functionality, and more”.
In 2023, we will definitely be entitled to “new free game experiences and areas of the city to explore” and still “patches, free packs, and other content” that can’t be revealed yet. All this in addition to DLCs paying forExpansion Packwhich proves that Volition has great ambitions to strengthen the content of Saints Row.
We are absolutely thrilled that you can finally play Saints Row. Over a million players have landed in Santo Ileso and built their criminal empire with the Saints.

We will continue to work on Saints Row for the long term and although we would prefer to talk about roadmaps and expansions, we believe that for now we should focus on improving the Saints Row experience for 2022. and beyond.
BUGS FIXES AND ADJUSTMENTS
We are aware that there is still work to be done to improve your gaming experience; we are working tirelessly to fix the bugs you reported and the adjustments you suggested. You can see the changes already made in recent patches here. Be sure to bookmark this page and follow us on social media for the latest Saints Row news, as well as a sneak peek at what we’re working on right now.
There are still a bunch of things we want to look into, but right now we’re prioritizing improvements to existing content, not developing new features. It is with this objective that we will release our first major update at the end of November. We will include as many tweaks and bug fixes as possible.
This November update will fix over 200 bugs, improve stability, and specifically focus on challenges, general game stability, and co-op. We are well aware of the difficulties encountered by some players in co-op. We’re sorry that resolving these issues is taking longer than expected; we are keen to test patches as appropriate. Still on the subject of co-op, we also know that the game does not always clearly indicate how and when it is possible. So we’re in the process of fixing that. In the meantime, feel free to consult the coop guide. It will give you more information on the best way to have fun in Santo Ileso with a friend!
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT OF THE GAMING EXPERIENCE
This November update will also mark the start of a series of changes and feature additions that will improve the game. These improvements will include proposals made by players: making certain activities less repetitive, making challenges more vehicle management, improved vibration and touch functionality, and more.
That said, these improvements to the gaming experience are just the tip of the iceberg. These are changes we can make quickly while we work on bigger redesigns based on your feedback.
We plan to update you more regularly in the future on the changes we are preparing and when they will be released!
NEW COSMETIC DLC FOR 2022
Although the release of new content is not our priority at the moment, we still have some cool new features for our players for 2022.
Today we are releasing the first Front to Back cosmetic pack; it is available to all players for free. If you own the game, all you have to do is go to the platform store and download the pack.
More will be released this year for all players, as well as several cosmetic packs offered exclusively to players with the Expansion Pass. The latter will be available for purchase this month. Note that you already have the Expansion Pass if you own the Gold, Platinum, or Notorious edition of Saints Row.
2023 AND BEYOND
As announced at the beginning of the article, we intend to continue developing Saints Row over the long term. 2023 will be a big year for Saints Row players: new content, including new story content (included in the Expansion Pass, but also available for purchase), new free play experiences and areas of the city to explore.
All this will of course be accompanied by patches, free packs and other content that we cannot reveal to you yet. Stay tuned for our progress on future Saints Row updates.
