Sakura Studio: the Japanese studio of NetEase is working on three games, including an action-RPG

By means of a press release and a visit to the essential Famitsu, NetEase Games gave news of its Shibuya studio where three projects are already in preparation. The first is described as a single-player action-RPG”where you can witness the growth of your characters as well as new gameplay elements as you progress through the game or through the story“, can we read. This title will stage “lively characters“in environments”which have depth and verticality“, we were also told.

The second is a cooperative action game based on a new license. “You will fight gigantic enemies while using stylish actions that are fun to use. It is an extremely thrilling game in which you will have to work as a team to solve it. We are developing new game systems to provide an unprecedented cooperative experience. We are also working on enemy AI related tools to enable new combat experiences“, says one of the team members.

The last game is the one on which Sakura Studio lingers the least, and for good reason this fighting game is based on a known license. No question of giving too many clues, therefore. “It is a new style of fighting game based on a certain series that fans are passionate about. Stay tuned for more details“, we are told.

The studio illustrates its words with four illustrations, but without indicating which projects they are supposed to correspond to.
