Salaries: No conflict resolution between GRDF and the CGT

PARIS, Dec 7 (Reuters) – GRDF management and CGT failed to reach a wage deal on Wednesday aimed at ending a five-week strike that is disrupting gas connection operations and causing wild cuts.

The CGT is demanding a 2.3% wage increase in addition to the increases already provided for in a majority wage agreement signed by three other trade unions (FO, CFDT and CFE-CGC).

The management has not made any proposals in this direction, Sébastien Raya, CGT delegate, told Reuters. (Report Caroline Pailliez, edited by Kate Entringer)
