The GSP 500 is part of Sennheiser’s new range of high-end gaming headsets, also made up of its almost twin brother the GSP 600. Despite a few small flaws, the GSP 500 delivers an extremely solid overall performance. Comfortable (except for a pronounced clamp effect), equipped with an absolutely remarkable quality microphone, it also benefits from a very immersive sound reproduction, in particular thanks to a very ample and precise spatialization. However, the latter is expressed above all on games and films; for music listening, the GSP 500 is noticeably less at ease. So even though it is one of the best helmets gaming available, this relative lack of versatility should be taken into account before any purchase decision, especially at its very high launch price.
