Similar to the 2582N cordless version, but with a cable attached, the Bisselle Crosswave promises to vacuum floors and clean them in the same motion thanks to its mop roller and two tanks, one of which is for water dirty.
The Bissell Crosswave is connected to the mains, but it remains identical to the 2582N wireless model that we tested in detail. We therefore find a rather heavy and imposing device which mainly suffers from its lack of versatility since it is intended almost exclusively for the maintenance of hard floors. In addition, its filtration of fine dust leaves something to be desired, a real weak point for a vacuum cleaner, a function that it nevertheless endorses. Fortunately, even if it leaves a little too much humidity for our taste after its passage, it is rather comfortable cleaning the floors thanks to its wide mop. Good point, its double tank system makes it possible not to wash the surfaces with dirty water, a real plus.

The Vileda Looper is not your average floor cleaner. The user must be pro-active and spray the water on the floor themselves. The electric mop has a single speed and a single (clean) water tank. Despite these basic features, the Looper has proven its worth by successfully cleaning our laboratory floor. Its ease of use and low noise level definitely make it an everyday device.
