Sale / Good deal – The Dyson Omni-glide broom vacuum cleaner at €289.00 (-22%)

Initially planned for the Asian market, the Omni-glide finally joined France. Without the screen of the V11 or the laser of the V15, it relies on its extreme maneuverability to find its place in cramped interiors.

If the Dyson Omni-glide does not impose itself in the highest spheres of our comparison, it mainly owes it to its too limited autonomy. Because except for this small pitfall, it is effective on all types of soil, while providing perfect filtration. What’s more, its exceptional maneuverability is not a simple gadget, but largely pleads in its favor and really facilitates cleaning sessions while making the chore much more pleasant than with a more classic model.

Strong points

  • Agility never seen before.
  • Excellent suction capabilities.
  • Perfect filtration.

Weak points

  • No additional features.
  • Very low autonomy.

NB: The reported price drop is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product last month, with security rules to exclude prices from shops whose the VAT policy is not clear (known as “grey” shops, typically in the case of imports from China).

Alternatively

By relying on now well-known technologies, Kärcher ensures that its VC6 stick vacuum cleaner does not suffer from any major design flaws. Admittedly, the remaining battery life indicator is reduced to its simplest expression and some competitor stick vacuum cleaners are more enticing thanks to their additional features or a more extensive set of accessories. The VC6 still benefits from some welcome additions (the suction mode selector, in particular), but it is above all its effectiveness on all types of floors that largely pleads in its favor.
