While Dyson has already set sail in terms of stick vacuum cleaners, dropping the competition by a good distance, the British manufacturer offers with the V8 Absolute a new “clean” emptying system and better autonomy. On paper, the V8 has it all.
The V8 Absolute has inherited the strengths of its predecessors: versatility, maneuverability and excellent suction efficiency on all floors. The new drain system works wonderfully, limiting contact with dust. As for autonomy, as promised by Dyson, it is also improved. Finally, a few ergonomic points have been revised, such as the accessory connection system or the battery level display, optimizing comfort in use. With this V8, Dyson still signs a highly recommendable broom.

By relying on now well-known technologies, Kärcher ensures that its stick vacuum cleaner in stick format VC6 does not suffer from any major design flaws. Admittedly, the remaining battery life indicator is reduced to its simplest expression and some competing stick vacuum cleaners are more enticing thanks to their additional features or a more extensive set of accessories. The VC6 still benefits from some welcome additions (the suction mode selector, in particular), but it is above all its effectiveness on all types of floors that largely pleads in its favor.
