With this Tab S7+, Samsung manages to offer an excellent alternative to the iPad Pro. The tablet excels everywhere, even if its autonomy remains a bit light for a 10,090 mAh battery. The screen is bright and very pleasant to use thanks to the 120 Hz as well as the S-Pen. Its processor gives it excellent performance that will keep it going for years, and even its main photo module has proven convincing for a tablet. Finally, let’s mention its more than fast charging, especially with a 45 W block (optional). All these arguments make it the best Android tablet to date. Whether it can completely replace a PC is another story… but it can certainly be used as a complement.

Strong points

  • Perfect finishes.
  • Large comfortable 120 Hz Oled panel.
  • Very good performance.
  • Photo quality more than acceptable with the main module.
  • Really fast charging for such a big battery.

Weak points

  • Autonomy a little behind the expected autonomy.
  • The ultra wide-angle module is not very good.

NB: The reported price drop is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product last month, with security rules to exclude prices from shops whose the VAT policy is not clear (known as “grey” shops, typically in the case of imports from China).

With its Pixel Tablet, Google manages to offer a good tablet. She does just enough to fully integrate into the daily life of a family, which is her core target. It is also with its dock that it finds its place in a home, playing sometimes on the tablet card, sometimes on that of Nest Hub to control home automation products. If Google has figured out how to ensure that a family tablet is not doomed to gather dust on a coffee table, this is perhaps its only flaw: perfectly adapted and even optimized for home use, the Pixel Tablet lacks the bit of madness we expected. And once out of the house, she gets left behind by models more gifted for play, productivity or creation.
