The Sauter SPI4764B induction hob goes below €400 at Cdiscount, a drop of around 25% on the price usually seen. It is currently one of our best value for money for small budgets.
The Sauter SPI4764B hob has many similarities to the SPI4664B. The difference lies in the presence of two “horizonetech” combinable zones; will this choice of Sauter pay off?

The Sauter SPI4764B hob suffers from the presence of two combinable zones which are far too similar. The four inductors, which are far too similar, do not allow you to take advantage of a zone dedicated to the rapid rise in temperature in particular. This results in poor performance in this exercise while the energy requirements are greater than those of the other models in our comparison. Nevertheless, all is not so dark and the SPI4764B is easy to handle.
Strong points
- Easy to handle.
- Two pre-programmable power levels.
- Maximum power available on all inductors simultaneously.
- Little noisy.
Weak points
- Little variety in size and power of inductors.
- Temperature rise time too long.
- Pay attention to the homogeneity of the temperatures when using a large container.

Like the Sauter SPI4360B, the SPI4361B does not handle low temperatures very well. Other than that, we don’t have much to complain about its performance. Indeed, it heats up quickly and is easy to use. We also appreciate the various pre-recorded power levels and the displays dedicated to each household.
