Sales / Good deal – The Canon Selphy Square QX10 “5-star” portable photo printer at €99.00 (-20%)

After several models using ZINK technology, Canon returns to the portable photo printer market with the Selphy Square QX10, a dye-sublimation model that promises better print quality.

With the Selphy Square QX10 portable printer, Canon offers a successful product. The print quality is quite impressive for such a small machine. We were convinced by its colorimetry, as well as by the level of sharpness offered. We regret the somewhat weak autonomy and perhaps too noisy printing, but these are not fatal flaws for this good printer.

Strong points

  • Simple to use app.
  • Aesthetics and design.
  • Fairly accurate colors.
  • Very good level of sharpness.

Weak points

  • Low autonomy.
  • Printing a bit noisy.

NB: The reported price drop is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product last month, with security rules to exclude prices from shops whose the VAT policy is not clear (known as “grey” shops, typically in the case of imports from China).

Alternatively

The Canon Selphy CP1300 is a unique device. Bulky and with relative colorimetric accuracy, it is nevertheless a bit alone in its segment and allows you to quickly obtain 10 x 15 cm shots with a good level of detail. The Canon Selphy CP1300 is thus positioned as a good alternative to lab prints, always easier to use than a large traditional printer.
