Garmin is expanding its range of watches with the Vívomove HR. Under the guise of a general public design, this watch offers useful measurements for everyone, but also for occasional athletes.
Garmin Vívomove HR
- Interface and uses
Between two categories – simple activity sensors and real sports watches – the Garmin Vívomove HR scores points with its sober but unifying design, as well as its fairly extensive measures. A few points that could be improved, in particular the readability of its Oled screen in the sun, and the absence of GPS, unacceptable for demanding athletes, should however be considered before purchasing it.
- Ease of use.
- Waterproof (can be used for swimming).
- Clear and intuitive Garmin Connect app.
- Lack of GPS.
- Readability of the second screen in bright light.
- It is up to the user to interpret the measurements.
As an alternative
Huami Amazfit GTS
- Ergonomics and design
- Uses and precision
Offered for an unbeatable price, the Amazfit GTS is a connected watch with several strings to its bow. It offers a very clear display of notifications and offers up to five days of battery. Unfortunately its too light finishes and its average performances end not limit it. However, it differs from the Fitbit Versa 2 by the presence of an integrated GPS. The American watch, for its part, has a better quality heart rate monitor. It will thus be necessary to separate the two terminals according to the expected use.
