The Panasonic LX15 camera goes under €400 at Fnac.com and Darty.com. This is currently our best value for money for small budgets.
Two years after serious competitors (Sony RX100 III and Canon G7X Mark II), Panasonic is finally launching into the expert compact with 1 “sensor. 20 Mpx sensor, touch screen, post-focus mode, manual dials, 4K video, stabilization 5 axes, Wi-Fi… Will these arguments be enough to make up for lost time?

The LX15 seizes the best and allows Panasonic to catch up on the 1″ expert compact sector. Its touchscreen and swivel, 5-axis stabilization, post-focus and 4K photo modes, 4K video, bright zoom and Wi-Fi are all arguments that allow it to face the Sony RX100 III and the Canon G7X II. The LX15, certainly does not revolutionize the genre, but it turns out to be a serious competitor and a good alternative to the LX100.

Sony offers a nice evolution of its high-end compact with brighter optics and a retractable viewfinder as practical as it is irresistible. With a good image quality, the RX100 Mark III is currently the best in this pocket format.
