After the Samsung Galaxy S21 and S21 Ultra, the Samsung Galaxy S21+ is the latest of the siblings to come to our test lab.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 + unfortunately does not solve the main flaw of the S21: autonomy. Despite a larger capacity accumulator, the terminal does not manage to turn a corner in this area. It is still an excellent smartphone, whose qualities are undeniable. We particularly appreciate its exceptional screen which flirts with perfection, its first-rate performance, or its very good daytime photos. But since it has to be compared to the competition, it is clear that some do better in terms of night photographs, and once again in terms of autonomy, such as the Google Pixel 5 or the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro. If the idea of recharging your mobile every day strikes you, move on. Otherwise, go for it.
Strong points
- A superb screen, once again.
- Very nice design and finishes.
- Very good performance of the Exynos 2100.
- Waterproof to 1.5m depth for 30 minutes.
Weak points
- Autonomy too fair.
- The lack of a charging block.
- Night photos still limited.

Like its predecessor, the Google Pixel 7 is an excellent smartphone. It benefits from a beautiful screen, a powerful SoC and a very good photo sensor duo. In addition, its price positioning makes it more affordable than the vast majority of its high-end competitors, without making any real concessions. We can certainly blame him for his heating in game, his always slow recharging or his too great similarity with the Pixel 6, but these defects weigh little with regard to the general experience, even more intuitive under Android 13.
