With its 77G4 television, a 77-inch (196 cm) version of the 65G4 that we tested, LG is back with a Meta 2.0 panel which promises to be even brighter than in 2023. We find all the know-how of the brand in terms of TV, as well as a fine and neat design.

With its 77G4, a 77-inch (196 cm) version of the 65G4 that we tested, LG improves its Oled G3 television, already a benchmark. The formula is not fundamentally different, but we find all the qualities of the G range with a careful design, excellent image quality in SDR and HDR (with a light peak which rises even higher than in 2023) and everything that gamers need to play in good conditions. As a bonus, the G4 consumes little and the webOS interface is now updated for five years. The only regret is that the manufacturer could have provided a base for more versatility, but LG has once again created a high-end Oled TV.
NB: The reported price drop is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product last month, with security rules to exclude the prices of stores whose the VAT policy is not clear (so-called “gray” stores, typically in the case of imports from China).

The LG 77G3 — the 77-inch (196 cm) version of the LG 65G3 that we tested — is quite simply the best TV tested to date in our laboratory. It combines all the advantages of Oled technology (contrast, precision, responsiveness, viewing angles) with the high brightness of a Mini-Led model. Even the anti-reflective filter is even more efficient. If you look closely, you will find some minor flaws, such as a lower color coverage compared to QD-Oled TVs, a stand sold as an option, or a fairly standard remote control. The fact remains that this TV is currently the best for all uses (films, series, video games, TV, and sports).
