With its Lumix FZ300, Panasonic will not disappoint those expecting a versatile, bright bridge with a good zoom range. It goes fast, it’s very handy, it films in 4K, it resists rain and dust and, in some aspects, can even pass for an expert camera. If bulk is not a problem, this is a very good candidate for the title of universal camera.

Alternatively

The most powerful 90x zoom on the market seduces with its undeniable versatility, which avoids overloading with lenses. However, the image quality of this Kodak Pixpro AZ901 bridge, unconvincing from ISO 400 but satisfactory at full zoom, makes it suitable for an undemanding target, despite the integration of the RAW format. Opposite, the Nikon Coolpix P900 benefits from an eye detector, a brighter lens, NFC and a Full HD 50 fps video mode; sold a little more expensive, it is nevertheless a more interesting box to take advantage of a very powerful zoom.
