Sales / Winter sales 2024 – The Tefal KI240D10 “4-star” kettle at €59.99 (-30%)

Behind this fairly common design, the Tefal KI240D10 hides its game well. We particularly appreciate that the proposed temperatures are respected (difference of barely 1°C) and that the heating is quite rapid. Its one-hour “keep warm” function is also welcome. Simple to use, this electric kettle performs flawlessly in our comparison.

Strong points

  • Water level indicator on both sides of the tank.
  • Large keys and clearly readable temperature display on the screen.
  • Removable anti-limescale filter.
  • Mouthpiece large enough to fit your hand through.
  • Announced temperatures respected (less than 1°C error).

Weak points

  • Base requiring regular and gentle maintenance.
  • Disappointing “natural” warm keeping.

NB: The reported price drop is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product last month, with security rules to exclude the prices of stores whose the VAT policy is not clear (so-called “gray” stores, typically in the case of imports from China).

Alternatively

The Bosch Styline TWK8611P has it all. It heats up quickly, offers a very effective keep warm function, benefits from a double wall which prevents burning and respects the requested temperatures. It is also easy to use and maintain. It ultimately deserves its 5-star rating and rises to the top of our comparison.
