Actress Salma Hayek responds to claims that she married entrepreneur Francois-Henri Pinault because of his fortune.
She doesn't have to, but does it anyway: Mexican actress Salma Hayek (54, "Frida") explains in the "Armchair Expert" podcast whether she married French businessman and billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault (58) for his money . Because that's exactly what many would have said back then. Her answer then as now is the same: "Think what you want. 15 years together, and we love each other very much." She was not offended by the allegations, she just didn't care.
In the conversation, Hayek raves about her husband and the father of their daughter Valentina (13) in the highest tones: "He made me become a much better person and grow in a good, healthy way." Hayek and Pinault celebrate their wedding anniversary on Valentine's Day, they got married on February 14, 2009 in Paris. To celebrate the day, the artist uploaded a couple photo on Instagram.
