Salma Hayek mourns her beloved sister-in-law and esteemed friend with a touching homage.
Actress Salma Hayek, 55, is very close to the loss of her sister-in-law Florence Rogers-Pinault, † 58. She was the sister of her husband, the extremely wealthy French businessman François-Henri Pinault, 59.
Salma Hayek: mourning her beloved sister-in-law
On Monday, September 6th, 2021, the actress will post a touching tribute to her sister-in-law in three languages: Spanish, French and English. In addition, she posts a photo with Florence, who died at the age of only 58, reports “Daily Mail”: “My friend and my dear sister-in-law, today you are flying into the unknown and I will never be able to hug you again,” says Hayek 18 million followers with. “But the feeling of your kindness, your strength, your joie de vivre, as well as the eternal light of the stars that shines in your eyes and above all the resonance of your laughter, will live on in my heart forever.” She ended her homage with: “Rest in Peace Florence Rogers Pinault.”
Warm relationship with the whole family
The Mexican actress has been with Pinault since 2007, in March of the same year the two announced their engagement and shortly afterwards their pregnancy. In September of the following year they gave birth to their daughter Valentina Paloma Pinault, who is now 13 years old. In 2009, the actress and the businessman tied the knot in a lavish wedding ceremony in Paris. Pinault is the CEO of Kering, who owns luxury brands Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent and Bottega Veneta.
Francois-Henri shares two children with his ex-wife Dorothée Lepère: son Francois, 23 and daughter Matilde, 20. Another son, Augustin Evangelista, 14, comes from the relationship with ex-supermodel Linda Evangelista, 56. Salma Hayek is supposed to have a particularly warm relationship with all of the stepchildren and the rest of the family.
